The Albarino is a very flavourful wine with a fresh mouthfeel. It excites the taste buds with its crisp citrus flavours. The mid-palate is clean with a slightly mineral structure that gives it a certain versatility. It can be served as an aperitif, alongside a vegetarian starter or fresh fish. This expressive white has a lot of personality while remaining dry and refreshing.
The continental climate has some Mediterranean influence. The soils are poor, shallow(40–90 cm) with a thick texture and loamy clay.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15 ºC for the first part of the fermentation and finishing at 18 ºC. After alcoholic fermentation, the pomace and the lees are removed, and the wine is matured for two weeks.
This wine is a perfect match for lemon chicken, grilled fish, or lime ceviche.
