Originally from Burgundy, the pinot noir is a very fragile grape variety that expresses itself in many ways depending on the terroir from which it hails. It is generally lightly coloured with aromas of cherry, blackberry, raspberry, and peony. It is ideal as an aperitif or with light dishes.
